The FPI in New York and Reykjavík
FPI agents travel a lot – to talk about money on international stages and conferences, to spread the best ideas for the labour market of the future and to introduce to the Fair Pay Innovation Lab’s work all over the world. In the next few months our agents will share best practices with experts and leaders from the fields of industry, science and politics in New York and Reykjavík – and hopefully come back to the Berlin headquarter with a golden trophy!

While working conditions, technology and forms of collaboration have changed enormously in the last hundred years, one thing has hardly changed: Women still earn significantly less than men – all over the world. Henrike von Platen, founder and CEO of the Fair Pay Innovation Lab, knows how to close the gender pay gap. Since summer 2017 the FPI, based in Berlin, supports companies and organizations to achieve pay equity by creating space for the constructive dialog between economy, science and politics and by inviting executives and decision makers to so called Fair Pay Management Circles. The FPI collects the best practices in fair pay, transparent salaries and participative management and shares the smartest solutions for everday’s business across sectors and among all actors in the – international – labour market.

WOMEN IN FUTURE CONFERENCE & STEVIE AWARDS DINNER

The FPI is this year’s finalist in the category “Organization of the Year – Government or Non-Profit, 10 or Less Employees” in the 15th annual Stevie® Awards for Women in Business. Henrike von Platen will be present to share best practices at the Women in Future conference – and to receive a bronze or silver medal or a golden trophy at the Stevie Award’s Dinner.

LEADERS TALK: THE MONEY TALK
Women Leaders Global Forum, Reykjavík, Iceland
CEO Henrike von Platen and Katinka Brose will talk about money at the “Davos of women”, where this year’s theme is “Digitalisation”: Why does the gender pay gap prove so intractable? What is standing in the way of fair pay for all? How does a sustainable pay strategy succeed, and does it ultimately pay? Where are demands made of companies, where are demands made of politics, and at which interfaces is there a need for optimisation? Our concern lies in the practical implementation of pay equity in everyday business operations. To meet the challenges in everyday business operations, it needs concrete solutions and practical measures. In order to develop new ideas and sound out innovative potential, the workshop brings all the actors on the labour market to the table – in quite concrete terms.
